This month's seal: Sufra brushed over January's squiggle pattern

Sufra is my recipe book, mailed one recipe at a time.

The first envelope goes out in January. Put your name down.

January's envelope opened on a travertine table in late sun, the recipe card resting on it, the postcard beside it, and the tahini and burnt honey Basque cheesecake behind with a glass of tea

My favorite way to take care of people is to cook for them.

It started at my mom's and grandma's tables, with cooking shows on instead of cartoons, and grew during my quarantine days working in a restaurant.

My best recipes were living in screenshots. I'd rather they live in your kitchen.

If you make one, send me a picture.
